The forecast was rain all weekend, but as luck would have it, the day that Jes and Dan decided to tie the knot, it was a beautifully overcast day. Dramatic clouds lined the skies all day and save for a 30 minute shower after the vows were exchanged, it was an absolutely perfect day for a wedding.
When I was first approached to shoot a wedding on a farm, I thought I would have some reservations, but they were instantly dashed when I met Jes and Dan. These two are an absolutely lovely couple, complementing each other nicely. They had simple plans with a beautiful setting; it would be my honor I told them.
Now, if you know me, you know what makes me tick. Food! I hate to say it, but all I can remember is what an awesome sight the roasting pig was! Delicious to boot! I failed though to catch the name of the caterers but the pies that were served for dessert were heavenly and they were provided by Baker's Treat.
There's not much more I can say other than I had a blast at this wedding. Everyone was so friendly, the weather cooperated beautifully and the food was fantastic. In my humble opinion, everything that makes a wedding memorable was included here. I can't say it enough, it was such a pleasure to be included in Jes and Dan's special day, even more so to have been capturing it.
Best of luck Jes and Dan, here's to a beautiful life full of wonderful memories. Many congratulations on your wedding!
